Here are a list of the 10 Frequently Asked Questions.

 

Q1: Is there a warranty?

A: We offer a 10 year warranty on all mechanical parts.

Q2: Can the bed be opened and closed easily?

A: The vertical boards of the cabinet contain spring loaded mechanism’s that raise and the lower the bed. These mechanisms can be adjusted to allow for ease of operation.  The patented fully adjustable spring loaded mechanism used to raise & lower the bed makes it easy for anyone to operate.

Q3: Do you need a box spring?

A: A box spring is not required. The mattress sits on a supportive Bunkie board that runs the length of the bed.

Q4: Does the price include the mattress?

A: No, but we would be happy to include one for an additional charge.  Interested? Go to Mattress page for details & pricing.

There are only 2 requirements if you plan to purchase or use your own mattress. It cannot exceed the following weights; Queen=80lbs Full=70 lbs Twin=60lbs.   The second requirment is that the Mattress can’t be thicker than 12″ so that it can fit in the cabinet when in the upright position.

Q5: What keeps the mattress in place when the bed is closed?

A: They supportive leg folds down when the bed is in the down position and folds up and over the mattress when in the up position – See picture.  The supportive leg folds up over the mattress holding the mattress securely in place when the bed is closed. See picture

Q6: Can you leave anything on the bed when closing it?

A: You may leave sheets, blankets and a comforter on the bed as long as they are tucked in around the mattress before closing the bed.  Bedding, sheets, blankets and a comforter tucked around the mattress plus two standard pillows can remain in place when bed is closed.

Q7: How much does it cost for shipping /delivery?

A: We have three options for shipping (anywhere in the continental USA). Curbside, Threshold and White Glove. Visit our delivery page for more information on delivery and rates.

Q8: How are the beds shipped?

A: We ship all our beds in flat boxes secured to a wooden pallet via LTL freight services. To see dimensions and weight of boxes , see our shipping page.

Q9:  Do I have to install my new wallbed?

A: Yes, you have to install the wallbed and cabinets yourself, or hire someone to do it for you. Each bed comes with complete step-by-step easy to follow instructions. We are also available to assist you on the phone. You may call our toll free number 888-810-4447, select option 3 and one of our technicians will be happy to assist you. You can view our installation video online to see just how easy assembly is.
